How long can I keep crushed malt for?
Crushed malt, if stored dry, is shelf-stable for 4 to 6 weeks. If your recipe contains a lot of dark malts, it is advisable to brew within 2 weeks to prevent flavor loss from the roasted malts.

Crushed malt is usually delivered in vacuum bags, but unfortunately, during transportation, bags often end up with a leak. This doesn't affect the quality of the cracked malt as long as the bag is stored in a dry space.

Why aren't the start and end gravity mentioned in the manual?
The gravity values of your brew are the result of the brewhouse efficiency. This can vary greatly depending on the brewing method used. That is also the reason why all weights are included in the recipe, so that you can determine the brewhouse efficiency of your setup in brewing software.

Why did I only receive one bag of malt? The recipe mentions X types of malt??
All malts have been individually weighed and crushed together. Therefore, the malt bag contains all the malts from the recipe.
